She hasn't eaten anything fattening for a few weeks so she can be a knock out in hr most clingy gown for a night on the town. The base was used to show the wood used for this piece (a hand chopped heart pine barn beam) and as a contrast to this sleek woman. After sculpting, the wood was the color of her shoulders (in contract to the hand hewn barn beam she's standing on).
