Balius - from the
Horses Series

Balius, along with Xantus, were immortal, talking horses of Achilles, the most formidable Greek hero of the Trojan War. Balius was portrayed by Podagre as a very stylized horse, but I thought this “reigned in” pose showed his true function of chariot horse.

This wood is Florida Red Cedar.
